This is a pre-professional track meant to prepare students for entrance into graduate schools leading to careers as Medical Doctors, Dentists, Veterinarians, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, and others. It is important for students to note that this is not a major; however, this track will fit into a wide variety of majors. No major must be declared by the entering student, but this set of courses should be completed in the first year if the student wants to remain on track to graduate in four years. The health professions have a wide variety of requirements for entrance to graduate school. In addition, individual graduate schools often have different requirements, even within the same field of study. Because of these facts, it is important for the student to look into specific field and school requirements as early as possible. The list of courses below will provide the maximum flexibility for an incoming student. By taking these courses, a student will be on track to graduate in four years with all the preparation needed for graduate school in a variety of health professions.
