Goals:
- To be able to describe major physical principles
associated with analytical (classical) mechanics
- To be able to assess a physical situation and
recognize the relevant physical laws or principles
- To be able to apply those principles to the situation
by setting up a mathematical model
- To be able to solve the mathematical model using
analytical and numerical methods
